Ingredients
1 | cup kale |
1 | medium ripe banana |
2 | to 3 pitted dates |
1 | cup almond milk or coconut milk |
½ | cup blueberries |
½ | cup ice |
DIRECTIONS
Step 1: Place all ingredients into blender.
Step 2: Blend until smooth.
Cheesy Guacamole with Baked Pita Chips
Denmark’s most popular cheese, Havarti can transform any dish into an instant favorite. The gourmet cheese is versatile, easy to use, a great source of protein, and ultra-delish! We used Havarti to add a tasty kick to traditional guacamole.
Ingredients
For the Pita Chips
3 | pita breads |
1 | tablespoon olive oil |
Vege-Sal All Purpose Seasoning |
For the Guacamole
4 | medium ripe avocados,halved and pitted |
¼ | cup red onion, chopped |
1 | lime, juiced |
½ | cup Havarti cheese, cold and grated |
2 | tablespoonscilantro,chopped |
Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste) |
DIRECTIONS
Make the Pita Chips
Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Step 2: Cut pita bread into triangles, and place on baking tray.
Step 3: Brush pita bread with olive oil, and season with Vege-Sal All Purpose Seasoning.
Step 4: Bake until golden and firm – but not crisp (approximately 5 minutes).
Make the Guacamole
Step 1: Scoop out avocado meat, and place in a medium bowl.
Step 2: Add onion, garlic paste, lime juice, and Havarti cheese.
Step 3: Mix until smooth.
Step 4: Stir in salt and pepper (to taste). Step 5: Garnish with cilantro, and serve with pita chips.
