When done for the right reasons, vulnerability shows strength -- not weakness. Only a strong person could have the confidence needed to give unguarded love (when it's possible that their kindness, affection, and transparency might not be reciprocated).

Christi is an award-winning journalist and national weekday news anchor for CNN's HLN and TruTv’s In Session. In her nine years at CNN, she has covered a wide variety of stories, including two presidential elections, the Virginia Tech shootings, and the Casey Anthony murder trial. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recently honored Christi with the “Hope Award.” The distinction was bestowed because of a segment she spearheaded called “Find Our Children” (which profiles a missing child each week). To date, 25 children are now home and safe because of the segment.
