Did you know that, according to a national study, 40 percent of the things people worry about never actually happen? Although hard to admit, we worry because we don't completely trust God. If we did, why would we fret over things that might happen? God knows that your bills need to be paid, your family needs to be protected, and all of your needs must be met. And, in the Bible, He promised to help you handle the entire load. In Matthew 6:30-34, the Message Bible offers this refreshing reminder:

"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers — most of which are never even seen — don't you think He'll attend to you, take pride in you, do His best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax. [...] Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow."

When you worry,
you tell God that you don't trust Him.

Philip Gulley (an American pastor and writer) once stated, "Fear can keep us up all night, but faith makes one fine pillow." Therefore, stop fretting hold on to your faith, and hand your worry-list over to God.
