Why Do It Alone?

Throughout history — businesses and nations have mastered the art of partnering with external sources. The question is: Why haven't countless Christians in ministry followed suit?

Many of us "go it alone" (and even struggle) spearheading our ministerial vision. But, maybe we should consider partnering with a few other like-minded ministries. With collaboration, our resources and overall strength become far greater.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 cautions: "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken" (New Living Translation).

In the Kingdom of God, our reward is not based on who "gets credit" for doing it alone. Our prize is based on God's perfect will getting done. It's all about Him, not about us.

Being Kingdom-minded entails understanding the power of working together.

So, has your ministry tapped into this power? Always remember: "Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight" (Leviticus 26:8).
