Distractions - The Enemy's Tool
Statement of Faith
CALLED believes that the Bible is the perfect Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to our problems and needs.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21
CALLED believes that there is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7
CALLED believes that “we are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28 teaches that our Heavenly Father calls his sons and daughters, alike, to serve Him in various capacities.
Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 4:11
CALLED believes that, as Christians, we are called to serve the needs of the poor, oppressed, widowed, and orphaned — and to heal the broken-hearted.
Psalm 68:5-6; 1 John 4:16
CALLED believes that salvation is God’s free gift to the world. Our salvation is not contingent on what we “do,” but is made freely available to us through God’s mercy and love.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1; Romans 3:24
CALLED believes that The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. The Holy Spirit helps empower believers to grow in Godly character, and live out God’s perfect will.
Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4
CALLED believes that sanctification is an ongoing journey, rather than a one-time occurrence. This involves the process of growing in obedience to God’s perfect will, and maturing in Godly character.
Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25
CALLED believes that Jesus will return for those who have been made righteous by accepting Him as their Savior. When He returns, He will take the redeemed to heaven for eternity.
Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28
When was the last time you evaluated your spiritual life? Are you still struggling with the same old issues? Has the Holy Spirit repeatedly asked you to work on a particular area of weakness? If you answered “yes” to one of these questions, now is the time to turbo-charge your spiritual growth. Here are a few steps that will give you a jump-start.
Business - As a Ministerial Platform
Although some people assume that ministry can only occur through a church, non-profit organization, or some other traditional means, Christian business owners around the world have begun to leverage their economic and persuasive power for the Kingdom of God. They recognize that entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to freely share the message of Jesus Christ. After all, they are the boss!
In 2007, Marsha DuCille launched CALLED Magazine. Since its inception, the publication has grown exponentially — now reaching over 250,000 Christian women worldwide. No matter how you leave a mark on this world — CALLED Magazine is for you.
