CALLED is more than just a magazine. It is a ministry to the minister — an oasis that rejuvenates — a navigating source for the spiritual navigator — and a community of sisterhood for female pastors & women in ministry.

Using the Bible as the source of all answers and inspiration, CALLED caters to your ministerial call and personal needs! Featured articles and editorial supplements assist female pastors & women in ministry in facing the day - to - day complexities that accompany being a spiritual shepherdess to a modern - day flock — as well as the unique reality of being a woman with real spiritual, relational, physical, emotional, and personal needs.

Most importantly, CALLED does not forget about the reader herself. Our magazine equips female pastors & women in ministry with the inspiration they need to be all that God has called them to be — while never losing sight of their needs, beauty, and worth as women—inside and out.

Submitting a Full Manuscript
To submit your ideas, please send your full manuscript to our editorial team for consideration.  Please note that CALLED Magazine does not accept query letters. Submissions can be made electronically or via mail. Electronic submissions are preferred. Full manuscripts sent by mail should be accompanied with an SASE (self-sealing envelopes preferred).

Statement of Faith — CALLED magazine

►CALLED, believes that the Bible is the perfect Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to our problems and needs.
2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21

►CALLED believes that there is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7

►CALLED believes that we are all one in Christ Jesus. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female: for we are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28 — and that Our Heavenly Father calls his sons and daughters, alike, to serve Him in various capacities. He has CALLED some of us to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers.

►CALLED believes that, as Christians, we are CALLED to serve the needs of the poor, oppressed, widowed, and orphaned — and to heal the brokenhearted.

►CALLED believes that salvation is God’s free gift to the world. Our salvation is not contingent on what we “do”, but is made freely available to us through God’s mercy and love.

►CALLED believes that The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. The Holy Spirit helps empower the believer to grow in Godly character, and live out God’s perfect will.

►CALLED believes that sanctification is an ongoing journey, rather than a one time occurrence. This involves the process of growing in obedience to God’s perfect will, and maturing in Godly character.

►CALLED believes that Jesus will return for those who have been made righteous by accepting Him as Savior. When He returns, He will take the redeemed to heaven for eternity.

  Editorial submissions should be 300-500 words in length.

• CONFERENCES & EVENTS CALENDAR - presents up-to-date information about conferences, workshops, seminars, and other events of interest to our readers.
  
  Editorial submissions should be 300-500 words in length.

• EVERYDAY MINISTRY - covers a broad range of topics such as leadership development, ministerial administration, biblical counseling, conflict resolution, and church growth.
  
  Editorial submissions should be 500-750 words in length.

• EVANGELISM - equips readers to reach the unchurched, prepare for missions, be culturally relevant, and minister the gospel to the world.
  
  Editorial submissions should be no more than 500 words in length.

• FASHION - features attire, shoes, and accessories that are appropriate for every ministerial occasion.
  
  Editorial submissions should be 300-500 words in length.

• MARRIAGE & FAMILY - assists readers in establishing and maintaining successful marriages, and creating a loving home.
  
  Editorial submissions should be 500-750 words in length.

• HEALTH & BEAUTY - helps readers minimize stress and maximize physical well-being. It also uncovers the beauty secrets of the Bible, and recommends products that help women glow from the inside-out.
  
  Editorial submissions should be no more than 500 words in length.

• MINISTERIAL FINANCES - instructs readers on effectively raising ministerial revenue, and equips them to be wise stewards of their ministry's resources.
